SPONSORSHIP 

This is one of the strongest application that enables even foreign nationals who have overstayed in Canada & have lost statuses to become Permanent Residents. 

The sponsor must be either a Canadian citizen or a Permanent Resident. 

In order for a candidate to be eligible to apply for Sponsorship program, he or she must have either of the three relationships with the Sponsor; Married, Common-Law Relationship, or Conjugal Relationship. 

On average, the applicant can get a Spousal Open Work Permit in 2 months after application submission, and can become a Permanent Resident in 1 year.
