ALBERTA OPPORTUNITY STREAM (AOS)

AINP Processing Fee: $500 CAD (Non-refundable).

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children).

Procedure:

1. Review eligibility.
2. Apply for AINP application by completing the application online.
3. Pay the application fee.
4. Result Confirmation.

ALBERTA EXPRESS ENTRY STREAM (AEE)

AINP Processing Fee: $500 CAD (Non-refundable).

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children).

Procedure:

1. Review eligibility.
2. Create a federal Express Entry profile.
3. Receive & Respond to the Notification of Interest (NOI) letter within 2 weeks.
4. Apply for AINP application by completing the application online.
5. Pay the application fee.
6. Result Confirmation.

INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRATION STREAM (IGEIS) 

AINP Processing Fee: $3,500 CAD (Non-refundable).

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children).

Procedure:

1. Review eligibility.
2. Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by accessing the AINP online portal.
3. Submit a Business Application package. 
4. Pay the application fee.
5. Sign a Business Performance Agreement (BPA). 
   – The candidate can apply for an extension of the work permit to meet the BPA conditions by requesting for a Letter of Support (205[a]) to AINP within 90 days of work permit expiry date.
6. Establish the Business in Alberta.
7. Submit a Final Report for AINP Nomination.
8. Result Confirmation.

SELF-EMPLOYED FARMER STREAM

AINP Processing Fee: $500 CAD.

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children).

Procedure:

1. Review eligibility.
2. Submit the business plan.
3. Apply for AINP application by completing the application.
4. Pay the application fee.
5. Mail the application to AINP.
6. Result Confirmation.

BRIDGING OPEN WORK PERMIT (BOWP)

Government Fee: $255 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required).

Procedure:

1. Apply for Work Permit.
   • Online Application: Takes 3 months on average (mostly used method).
   • Paper Application: Takes 3-4 months on average.
   • No Border Application.
2. Result Confirmation.

NOMINEE-BASED WORK PERMIT 

Employer Compliance Fee: $230 CAD.

Government Fee: $155 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required).

Procedure:

1. Apply for Work Permit.
   • Online Application: Takes 3 months on average (mostly used method).
   • Paper Application: Takes 3-4 months on average.
   • Border Application: Takes 1 day.
2. Result Confirmation.
