FEES & PROCEDURES

SKILLS IMMIGRATION

BCPNP Registration Fee: No fee.

BCPNP Application Fee: $1,150 CAD.

Request for Review Fee: $500 CAD.

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child Fee per Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children with maximum of $170).

Procedure:

1. Registration: Register through Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). This is a points-based application system that helps the province to select the best suitable workers to fill in the labour needs.
2. Invitation: Eligible candidates will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
3. Application: Submit the application through BCPNP online portal.
4. Nomination: Receive a provincial nomination.
5. Federal Application: Apply for a permanent residence by submitting a federal application to the designated IRCC visa office by mail.
6. Result Confirmation.

EXPRESS ENTRY BC

BCPNP Registration Fee: No fee.

BCPNP Application Fee: $1,150 CAD.

Request for Review Fee: $500 CAD.

Procedure:

1. Create IRCC Express Entry profile.
2. Registration: Create an online profile through the Express Entry BC (EEBC) – Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).
3. Application: Submit the application through EEBC online portal.
4. Nomination: Receive a provincial nomination.
5. Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Express Entry.
6. Federal Application: Apply for a permanent residence by submitting a federal application through IRCC Express Entry system. 
7. Result Confirmation.

ENTREPRENEUR IMMIGRATION

BCPNP Registration Fee: $300 CAD.

BCPNP Application Fee: $3,500 CAD.

Request for Review Fee: $500.

Federal Application Processing Fee: $825 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Right of Permanent Residence Fee: $500 CAD (Extra for Adding Spouse).

Dependent Child Fee per Child: $225 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required, Extra for Adding Spouse & Children with maximum of $170).

Procedure:         

1. Registration: Create an online profile through BCPNP Online and provide a short business concept.
2. Invitation: Receive an invitation to apply (ITA).
3. Net Worth Review: BCPNP authorized accounting firm must conduct a personal net worth review of the applicant to verify his/her accumulation of funds.
4. Application: The applicant has 120 days to submit the application through BCPNP Online.
5. Building Business in BC: The applicant must establish a business in BC according to the terms and conditions of his/her Performance Agreement.
6. Nomination: Receive a provincial nomination.
7. Federal Application: Submit permanent residence application to IRCC under Provincial Nominee Class by mail.
8. Result Confirmation.

BRIDGING OPEN WORK PERMIT (BOWP)

Government Fee: $255 CAD.

Biometric Fee: $85 CAD (If Required).

Procedure:

1. Apply for Work Permit.
   1. Online Application: Takes 1-3 months on average (mostly used method).
   2. Paper Application: Takes 3-4 months on average.
   3. Unprecedented situations like COVID-19 can delay the processing time.
